WHITE WIZZARD: New Audio Interview Posted Online
January 6, 2010On January 5, Rustyn Rose of Metalholic.com conducted an interview with vocalist Wyatt Anderson of Los Angeles traditional metal heroes WHITE WIZZARD. The chat is now available for streaming below.
"Over The Top", WHITE WIZZARD's full-length follow-up to the "High Speed GTO" mini-album, will be released in March via Earache Records. The CD was recorded with producer Ralph Patlan (MEGADETH, UFO, MICHAEL SCHENKER) and will contain "10 songs that will rip your head off," according to bassist Jon Leon.
The CD was mixed at the legendary Prairie Sun Recording in Northern California.
Early versions of two songs that are expected to appear on WHITE WIZZARD's new album — "40 Deuces" and "Over The Top" — are available for streaming on the band's MySpace page.
WHITE WIZZARD formed in 2007 and shortly afterwards recorded its "High Speed GTO" demo, which only made it into the hands of a few select fans. Following a brief period of inactivity, the demo fell into the hands of Earache Records and the "High Speed GTO" song was included on "Heavy Metal Killers", a compilation featuring 13 tracks from the best new traditional-sounding heavy metal bands. Earache Records released the "High Speed GTO" tracks as a mini-album last summer.
